Welcome to...

Pens for Kids Australia is a newly formed branch of Pens for Kids International and does not yet have its own website, so here is a preliminary presentation of the organisation.

Pens for Kids Australia is a local branch of the non-political, non-religious, non-profit charity organisation Pens for Kids International, the aim of which is to get writing utensils to underprivileged kids in the third world - primarily Africa.

Pens for Kids accepts donations of writing utensils such as pens, pencils, felt pens, rulers, erasers, gel-pens and the like, and sends them to Africa for distribution among kids who need them for their school work.

The pens are distributed through a network of local contacts - the so-called Pens for Kids Ambassadors, or through local non-profit charity organisations.

Pens for Kids is based entirely on volunteer work and has no administration costs other than shipping expenses for the pens.

Below is a flyer presenting our project. Please download and distribute it to friends, family, colleagues and business associates - and tell the world about us !

PFK Australia in Kenya

Punita paid a visit to Kenya in 2011, and took the opportunity to visit Pens for Kids Ambassador in Voi - Japheth Mwendwa Syanda at his curio shop.

Punita had brought along pencils and books for the local kids and gave them to Japheth for further distribution in the local community.
